Race to the Raft
Race to the Raft review
I recently got my hands on "Race to the Raft," and I'm pleasantly surprised! It's a cooperative game where you work together to guide your feline friends to safety. The gameplay is simple to learn, with the goal being to create paths for the cats using cards while trying to keep them ahead of the spreading fire, represented by different shaped tiles.
What I really like about this game is its replayability. There are 81 scenarios to choose from, ranging from a simple tutorial to more challenging ones. This means you can play it again and again without getting bored. The randomized element, where you select game pieces, adds to the variety.
I found it helpful to watch some YouTube videos before playing. While the game is easy to pick up, these videos helped me grasp some of the finer strategies. My family enjoys playing, even my younger kids (7 and 5). It's great to have a game we can all play together.
Overall, "Race to the Raft" is a fun, strategic, and engaging cooperative game that's perfect for families and game nights. I highly recommend giving it a try!
