Everdell Farshore

Everdell Farshore is a beautiful standalone game that takes players on a journey to the rugged coast of Farshore. The game plays very similarly to the original Everdell, but with some welcome improvements. I really appreciate the new Windrose tiles, which add a lot of flexibility to the achievements, and I found the streamlined gameplay to be a big improvement over the original. It's much easier to find the cards you need, and the game moves along at a much faster pace.

The game is very visually appealing, with gorgeous artwork and beautifully sculpted pieces. I was a little disappointed to find that the artwork wasn't done by Andrew Bosley, who did such an amazing job on the original Everdell, but the new art is still very nice. I especially love the new critter figurines.

I've only played Farshore a few times, but I already know it's a keeper. It's a fun, engaging game that I'm sure I'll be playing for years to come. If you're a fan of Everdell, I highly recommend giving Farshore a try. You won't be disappointed.
