After Us review

After Us is a game that I've been wanting to try for a while now, and I'm happy to report that it did not disappoint. It's a fun and engaging deck-builder with a unique twist that really sets it apart. The game is all about building your tribe of apes, and it's a lot of fun to see how the different apes work together. The game is easy to learn, but there's a lot of depth to the strategy, which makes it fun for players of all levels.

One of the things that I really liked about this game is the combo system. You have to be really strategic about how you arrange your cards to get the most out of them. This adds a lot of tension to the game and makes every decision important. The components are also really high quality. The cards are thick and durable, and the artwork is beautiful. I also really liked the wooden resources and score tokens.

The theme of the game is a bit hit or miss. Some people will love the Planet of the Apes vibe, while others will find it a bit forced. I personally didn't mind the theme, but I can see why some people might not be into it. The game itself is a lot of fun, regardless of the theme. However, I wish there was more player interaction.

Overall, I think After Us is a great game for anyone who enjoys deck-building or resource management games. It's a fun and engaging game that I would highly recommend. The gameplay is unique and the strategy is deep. This is a great game to play with friends and family.
