Captain Flip
Captain Flip review
Captain Flip is a charming little game that's easy to pick up and play. The premise is simple: draw a tile from the bag, decide whether to keep it as is or flip it, and then place it on your board to build your crew. Each crew member has a unique ability, and the goal is to collect the most gold by the end of the game.
I really enjoyed the quick pace of the game and the decision-making involved in deciding whether to flip a tile or not. The game is fun for all ages, and the different board layouts offer replayability.
One thing I found interesting was the way the game promotes player interaction, even though there's not much direct conflict. The decisions you make about which tiles to keep and where to place them can have a significant impact on your opponents' strategies.
I did find one minor criticism, though. The game is available in German, but it seems there isn't an English version yet. This might be a barrier for some players, but it's not a deal-breaker.
Overall, I highly recommend Captain Flip for anyone looking for a fun, quick, and strategic game for the whole family.
