Wonder Woman: Challenge of the Amazons review

I've been wanting to get my hands on this game for a while, being a huge Wonder Woman fan, and I'm glad I finally did. It's a really well-made cooperative game that captures the spirit of Wonder Woman while offering a challenging and engaging gameplay experience. The artwork is beautiful, the components are sturdy, and the game itself is surprisingly deep for its seemingly simple rules.

The game allows for a lot of replayability, with three different villains to face and six playable characters, each with their own unique abilities. I especially enjoy the inclusion of Nu'Bia, a character who is often overlooked but who is a powerful and important figure in Wonder Woman lore. I also appreciate the reference cards for each round, which make it easy to keep track of everything that's going on.

I've played the game with both my partner and friends, and it's been a hit with everyone. It's a great game for families, especially those who are Wonder Woman fans, but I think it's also a great choice for anyone who enjoys cooperative board games. It's not too complex, but it's still challenging enough to be satisfying.

While I do agree with some reviewers that the game can feel a bit on the simpler side and that the cardboard standees are not the best, I think the overall experience is fantastic. It's a great game for fans of both Wonder Woman and cooperative board games.
