Horrified

I recently picked up Horrified and I have to say, it's become a favorite in our household. We're big fans of cooperative games, and this one really delivers in terms of theme and gameplay.

The premise is simple: you and your fellow heroes are tasked with saving a town from a horde of classic Universal Monsters. Each monster has unique abilities and requires a different strategy to defeat. It's a lot of fun working together to figure out the best way to tackle each threat.

I've found that the game is very accessible to new players, and even those who don't normally enjoy board games have picked it up quickly. The rules are well-written and easy to understand, and the gameplay is engaging and fun.

The game also has a decent amount of replayability, thanks to the different combinations of monsters and heroes you can choose from. I've played several times with different groups, and it's always a different experience.

The only downside I've found is that the monster miniatures are a little flimsy. A few of ours have warped a bit, which is a shame because they are pretty cool looking. But overall, this is a minor issue and doesn't detract too much from the game.

If you're looking for a cooperative game that's easy to learn, fun to play, and has a great theme, I highly recommend Horrified. It's a great choice for families, game nights, or just a fun way to spend an evening with friends.
