Thunderstone Quest review

I've been a fan of Thunderstone for a while now, and I was excited to try out Thunderstone Quest. It's a deck-building game where you're trying to build a powerful deck of cards to defeat monsters in dungeons. I love how you can create unique decks with all the different cards, and I found the dungeon-crawling aspect to be really engaging.

The game feels better organized than the original Thunderstone. The quests are great, and the new play modes are fun. However, I'm a little disappointed that you can't use any of your old Thunderstone cards with this new version. I've spent quite a bit of money on those expansions over the years, and it would have been great to be able to use them in this game. That being said, the components are really high-quality. The artwork is great, and the game board is really well-designed. The only issue I had was that the board came slightly damaged, but Amazon was able to replace it for me quickly.

Overall, I think Thunderstone Quest is a great game. It's a good mix of deck-building and dungeon crawling, and I really enjoy the theme. I do wish the story was a bit more fleshed out, but that doesn't stop it from being a fun and engaging game.
