Dragonfire
Dragonfire review
Dragonfire is a cooperative deck-building game set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons. It's a really fun game, but I'm not going to lie, it's definitely not for beginners. The rules are pretty complex and take a bit of time to learn, and the game itself is pretty difficult. You can get your butt kicked pretty easily, especially in the beginning.
That being said, once you get the hang of the rules and the gameplay, it's incredibly rewarding. The deck-building aspect is a lot of fun, and it feels great to build up your character and unlock new abilities. And the D&D theme is really well done, with lots of fun references and characters that D&D fans will enjoy.
I think the biggest problem with Dragonfire is that it can be pretty frustrating if you're not used to difficult games. If you're looking for a casual, relaxing game, this isn't it. But if you're willing to put in the time to learn the rules and you enjoy a challenge, then Dragonfire is definitely worth checking out.
One thing I really appreciate is that the game comes with a ton of components and expansions. The base game is really solid, but there are also a bunch of expansions that add new characters, scenarios, and monsters. So you can definitely get a lot of replay value out of this game.
Overall, I would say that Dragonfire is a great game for experienced gamers who enjoy a challenge. It's not for everyone, but if you're looking for a fun, cooperative deck-building game with a D&D theme, then I highly recommend it.
