Meeple Land review

Meeple Land is a fantastic game that combines elements of worker placement, tile-laying, and amusement park management. The core gameplay loop is simple but engaging: you buy attractions, build your park, and attract meeples (visitors) to earn points. Each round, you strategically choose a bus with meeples to place in your park, hoping to accommodate their preferences and maximize your earnings.

The game is surprisingly deep for its compact size. I really enjoy the decision-making involved in choosing which attractions to buy, where to place them, and how to route paths to ensure maximum efficiency. There's also a nice element of risk/reward when deciding whether to accommodate all meeples or risk penalties for unsatisfied visitors.

While it's not as complex as something like Ticket to Ride or Settlers of Catan, Meeple Land offers a satisfying level of strategic depth and is a lot of fun to play with family or friends. The artwork is charming and the components are high quality. The only minor complaint I have is that the box design is a bit awkward. I ended up buying a separate organizer to better store the pieces.

Overall, I highly recommend Meeple Land. It's a great game for anyone who enjoys amusement park themes, strategic tile placement, or simply a fun and engaging family game night.
