Savernake Forest

Savernake Forest is a delightful little game that's easy to learn but offers enough depth to keep you coming back for more. I was immediately drawn to the beautiful artwork and the theme of helping animals prepare for winter. The components are high quality, and I especially appreciated the use of plastic tabs instead of shrink wrap – a nice touch for a game about nature.

The gameplay is quick and engaging. You're building your own section of the forest, trying to create paths that will attract the right animals and allow them to collect their favorite foods. There are a few different ways to score points, so you're constantly strategizing and trying to outsmart your opponents.

One thing I really enjoyed was that the game is easy to pick up, even for younger players. The rules are simple, and the game can be set up in a matter of minutes. However, there's also plenty of depth for more experienced players.
