LUNA Capital
LUNA Capital review
LUNA Capital is a fast-paced, easy-to-learn game that I found quite enjoyable. The premise of building a lunar city is engaging, and the gameplay is focused on strategically placing cards and tiles to create the most efficient and lucrative settlement.
The game's mechanics are simple: players take turns drawing cards and placing them in ascending order, along with corresponding tiles that represent different building projects like oxygen collectors, greenhouses, and residential complexes. The goal is to score points by grouping similar projects together, and the player with the highest score wins.
I was initially concerned that the variety of buildings and their scoring rules might be a bit confusing, but it turned out to be quite intuitive once I got the hang of it. The game plays quickly, with rounds lasting about 20 minutes, making it perfect for casual game nights or a quick session when you only have a short amount of time.
The quality of the components is excellent, with sturdy cardboard tiles and cards. The box also has a well-designed insert that makes storing the game easy and compact. Overall, LUNA Capital is a solid game with a fun theme and simple, engaging mechanics. It's definitely a great option for families and gamers who enjoy quick and strategic plays.
