IKI
IKI review
I've been wanting to try IKI for a while now, and I'm glad I finally got the chance. It's a visually beautiful game with high-quality components and plenty of pieces. The gameplay is definitely more complex than I initially expected, but it's also very engaging. I've played it with 3 players a couple of times, and each game has been different. The rules are well-written, even if they are a little extensive. The first time we played, it took us a while to understand everything, but once we got the hang of it, the game was a lot of fun. The artwork is beautiful, and the game is very replayable. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys strategic games with a unique theme.
I particularly enjoy the worker placement aspect of the game. The game is a good length, taking about an hour per play, and there are a lot of choices to make. It’s one of those games where you’ll be thinking about your next move even after you’ve finished playing! There are also a few timing issues that aren’t entirely clear from the rules, but once you figure out how it works, the game is quite fun.
Overall, I'm very happy with IKI. It's a great game for anyone who enjoys strategic games with a unique theme. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new game to try.
