Encyclopedia

I was really looking forward to playing Encyclopedia after reading the description. The theme of exploring and documenting natural history is right up my alley, and the worker placement aspect sounded intriguing. I was especially excited about the dice-based mechanics and the potential for strategic maneuvering with those dice.

However, I was sadly disappointed by the packaging. The box was huge and the game itself was not adequately protected inside. It arrived damaged, which was a real bummer. It's a shame because the game itself seems like it would be a lot of fun, and the beautiful animal cards sound like a highlight. I'd definitely consider purchasing it again if they improve the packaging. It just feels like such a let-down to receive a potentially fantastic game in such poor condition.
