Orichalcum review

Orichalcum is a game that I've been enjoying lately. It's a quick and tense strategy game that reminds me of a smaller 4X experience. Each player has their own island board to explore and develop. The game plays out over turns where you choose an Exploration tile and an Action. Actions include things like recruiting hoplites, producing orichalcum, building structures, or fighting monsters. The goal is to be the first to reach 5 victory points by building temples, acquiring orichalcum, or winning the favor of titans.

I've found Orichalcum to be a really fun game. It's easy to learn and teach, but it also has a lot of depth. There are a lot of different ways to play the game, and each game feels different. It also has a great visual appeal and comes with a lot of high-quality pieces. Some reviewers have mentioned that there are a lot of pieces and that it takes a lot of space to play. This is definitely true, but it's not a dealbreaker for me. The pieces are well-made and the game is fun, so I'm willing to put up with the extra setup.

If you're looking for a quick and fun strategy game that's easy to learn but has some depth, I would definitely recommend Orichalcum. It's a great game for families or groups of friends. I think it's also a good gateway game for people who are new to strategy games.
