Bad Company review

Bad Company is a fast-paced, engaging game that reminds me of Space Base with a bit less downtime. The dice-rolling mechanic keeps things moving quickly and the simultaneous action element ensures that everyone is involved in every turn. I especially appreciate the strategic depth that comes from choosing how to upgrade your gang members and how to use your special abilities. The game's theme is lighthearted and the cartoonish gang members add a touch of humor.

However, I do have some reservations about the game. The components, particularly the game board, feel somewhat underwhelming. The thin gang boards and the smaller-than-ideal board size detract from the overall experience. I also found the cardboard tokens to be a bit flimsy.

Despite these shortcomings, I still found Bad Company to be a fun and enjoyable game. It's quick to set up, easy to learn, and provides a satisfyingly strategic experience. If you're looking for a light-hearted, engine-building game with a lot of player interaction, Bad Company is definitely worth checking out. Just be aware that the components might not be as high quality as you'd hope.
