Dragonkeepers
Dragonkeepers review
Dragonkeepers is a fun, quick-playing game that I found myself enjoying more than I expected. The premise is simple: you’re a magician herding dragons, and you need to collect sets of them to score points. What makes it interesting is the "Magic Book," which dictates how many dragons of each type you can collect on a given turn. You can manipulate the Magic Book by playing cards back into it, which adds a layer of strategic depth.
I was particularly impressed by the artwork. The dragons are all very cute and whimsical, and they really bring the theme to life. The game components are also of good quality, with sturdy cards and nice-looking tokens.
The game is easy to learn, but there’s enough strategy to keep it interesting for experienced players. It’s also a great game for families, as the rules are simple enough for younger players to understand.
I think Dragonkeepers is a great filler game, or a good choice for a quick game night with friends. I’ve enjoyed playing it with both casual and hardcore gamers, and it's always a hit.
