Shake That City
Shake That City review
Shake That City is a fun and engaging tile-laying game that I've been enjoying for a while now. I picked it up after seeing it on Kickstarter and I'm glad I did. The "Cube Shaker" is a clever and unique addition to the game, adding an element of randomness to the tile placement.
The game is easy to learn and doesn't take long to play, making it a great option for family game night. The rules are clear and concise, and there's even a cheat sheet for scoring if you need it. The art is great, and the game is well-made. I particularly appreciate how each player participates on every turn. There are multiple ways to earn points, which encourages experimentation and strategy.
I've played Shake That City both solo and with my family. While the solo experience is enjoyable, I've found the game to be most fun with 2-4 players. It's a great way to spend a half-hour or so, and it's always a conversation starter because of the Cube Shaker. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly game with a unique twist.
