FYFE

FYFE is a beautiful game with an engaging puzzle element. The components are high quality and the artwork is stunning. The rules can seem confusing at first, but after a quick read-through of the instructions and a few online videos, the gameplay becomes clear. The most confusing part of the game for me was the "lucky charms." To streamline things, our group came up with the house rule that you could "buy" a lucky charm to use at a later time in the game rather than being forced to use it immediately. This greatly improved our experience.

I was initially expecting a light family game, but FYFE ended up being a surprisingly strategic and engaging experience that my entire family enjoys. While the core mechanics are simple, there's a lot of depth to the game's strategy, and it scales well for different player counts. I can definitely see myself playing this game for years to come.

However, I did encounter one major issue with my copy of the game. The player boards were so warped that the pieces wouldn't stay on them. This is a serious quality control issue that should be addressed by the manufacturer.

Overall, I highly recommend FYFE for anyone looking for a fun and challenging puzzle game. Just be sure to check the quality of your game board before playing.
