Encore! review

Encore! is a really fun, quick-playing dice game that's easy to learn but has some strategic depth. The main goal is to complete rows and columns of colored squares on your score sheet by matching dice rolls. What makes Encore! unique is that the first player gets to choose which dice to use for the round, leaving the other players to make do with the remaining dice. This adds an element of strategy and negotiation to the game. The rules are simple and straightforward, even for new players, and the game moves quickly, which makes it perfect for a casual game night or a quick play on the go. I really like that there's a solo mode for when you want to play by yourself.

One thing I noticed is that the dice are a bit lighter than I prefer, but that's a minor detail. I also really appreciate the colorful score sheets - they're eye-catching and make the game more visually appealing. The game comes with markers for each player, and it's small enough to easily travel with. The only thing I would change is that it would be great if there were more score sheets available to buy separately, as the ones included in the game can run out quickly, especially if you play often.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Encore! to anyone looking for a fun, quick-playing, and portable game. It's a great choice for families, friends, or solo play.
