Exit: The Game – Advent Calendar: The Hunt for the Golden Book review

I've been a fan of the EXIT games for a while now, so I knew this advent calendar wouldn't disappoint. It's such a clever way to use the box, and it's not your typical advent calendar with numbered doors. You have to solve puzzles to move from one door to the next, which keeps things interesting. Some of the puzzles were a little ambiguous and didn't quite work as well as others, but most were fun and satisfying. I'm glad they included a hint book, but I tried to use it sparingly. Usually, the solution would reveal itself eventually, and as I progressed, I got a better sense of how to approach the puzzles.
Each morning, I looked forward to tackling the day's challenge over my coffee. Sometimes, the answer came too quickly, and I was a bit disappointed that it was over so soon. But most days, it took a decent amount of time to solve, which was a great way to start my day. There's something incredibly satisfying about solving a clever riddle early in the morning. I'm definitely going to pick up another one of these for next December. It really made my Christmas extra merry!
