Exit: The Game – The Secret Lab

Exit: The Game – The Secret Lab is a challenging and engaging escape room experience in a box. I was drawn to this one because it's a level 3 difficulty, and I like a good mental workout. The puzzles are definitely not for the faint of heart, and I found myself using the help cards more than I usually do with these games. However, the sense of accomplishment after solving a particularly tricky puzzle is worth the effort. I did feel like it dragged on a bit; two and a half hours is a long time for one game, even for a puzzle lover. This game is not for the faint of heart, and I wouldn't recommend it for those who prefer a faster-paced experience.

I really liked the creative approach to the puzzles and found myself thinking outside the box more than once. The game was well-designed and visually appealing, with colorful graphics and well-constructed pieces. While the game is only playable once (you have to cut, fold, and write on the materials), I appreciated the fact that it can be played again by others if you don't mark up the components.

Overall, I would recommend Exit: The Game – The Secret Lab to anyone who enjoys a challenging and rewarding puzzle experience. Just be prepared for a long and intense game session.
