Exit: The Game – The Stormy Flight review

I recently tried out Exit: The Game – The Stormy Flight, and I have to say, it was a wild ride! The premise is simple: you're part of a plane crew headed to Barbados, but things get chaotic when an electrical storm hits. Suddenly, you're in a race against time to repair the aircraft and land safely.

I found myself really engaged in the story and the puzzles. The game is definitely challenging, and I definitely needed to use some of the hints, but that didn't detract from the fun. The puzzles are creative and thought-provoking, requiring you to think outside the box (and sometimes inside it, too!). There were a few times where I felt completely stumped, but I was always able to figure it out with a little help from the hints.

The game mechanics are really well-designed, and the components are high-quality. I particularly liked the decoder wheel - it's a clever way to guide you without giving away too much. The game also has a great app that provides a timer and atmospheric sound effects, which really helps to immerse you in the experience.

One thing to keep in mind is that Exit: The Game is a one-time use game. You'll be marking up, cutting, and folding components as you play, so you can't replay it after you've solved the puzzles. Personally, I don't mind this, as I feel like it adds to the experience - it's like a real-life escape room where you're actually changing the environment.

Overall, I had a great time with Exit: The Game – The Stormy Flight. If you enjoy logic puzzles, creative problem-solving, and a good challenge, I highly recommend giving it a try. Just be prepared to think outside the box, and don't be afraid to use the hints if you get stuck! I'm definitely going to be trying out more games in this series.
