Exit: The Game – Theft on the Mississippi review

We recently tried out Exit: The Game – Theft on the Mississippi and had a fantastic time! It's a really engaging experience that truly captures the escape room feeling. We were immediately drawn into the story of a robbery on a steamboat traveling down the Mississippi River. The goal is to find the culprit before the boat docks in New Orleans and the thief escapes.

As with other Exit games, the puzzles are challenging but fair. This one definitely took us a while, clocking in at over two hours. There were some incredibly creative riddles that had us all scratching our heads, which added to the enjoyment of the game. I appreciated that the clues were all there; it wasn't about guessing or leaps of logic, but rather carefully analyzing the information presented. This was a refreshing change from some other escape room games we've played.

One thing I liked about this particular Exit game was that it's reusable. Unlike many others, where you have to mark, cut, or fold components, you can play it again without compromising the experience. We also really liked the presentation. The colorful graphics and well-constructed pieces made the game visually appealing. Overall, I highly recommend Exit: The Game – Theft on the Mississippi, especially for those who enjoy a good puzzle and a bit of detective work!
