Exit: The Game – The Professor's Last Riddle
Exit: The Game – The Professor's Last Riddle review
I've been a fan of the Exit: The Game series for a while now, and "The Professor's Last Riddle" definitely lived up to my expectations. I love how each game offers a unique story and set of puzzles, and this one felt fresh and engaging. The premise of deciphering the professor's legacy was intriguing, and I found myself truly invested in solving his final riddle.
As with other Exit games, the puzzles were well-designed and challenging, but not overly frustrating. There were a few that required a bit of lateral thinking, and we needed to use a couple of hint cards, but that's part of the fun for me. I particularly enjoyed the use of the balloon – it was a clever and unexpected element that added to the overall experience.
One thing I did find a bit strange was the professor's character. His "treasure" seemed a bit underwhelming, and I wasn't sure I understood his motivations. But that's a minor quibble, and didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the game.
Overall, I highly recommend "The Professor's Last Riddle" to anyone who enjoys escape room games or puzzle-solving. It's a well-made, engaging, and challenging experience that will keep you entertained for a couple of hours. Just be prepared for the fact that it's a single-use game, and you'll need to tear and fold some of the components to play.
