Ticket to Ride: New York
Ticket to Ride: New York review
Ticket to Ride: New York is a smaller, faster version of the classic Ticket to Ride board game. It’s a fun, quick-playing game that is perfect for those who don't have a lot of time to play or want to try out Ticket to Ride without committing to a longer game. I’ve been a big fan of the Ticket to Ride series for a while now, and this one is a great addition to my collection.
The game is set in Manhattan and uses taxis instead of trains. It's a fun twist on the classic Ticket to Ride formula that still retains the core gameplay that I love: collecting cards, claiming routes, and drawing tickets. I love the small scale of the game; it makes it perfect for playing on the go. The game board is smaller than the traditional Ticket to Ride games, but it's just as well-designed and detailed.
The gameplay is fast-paced and fun. It takes about 15 minutes to play, making it perfect for a quick game or a filler game. The rules are easy to learn, making it accessible to new players. The game can be played with 2-4 players, and it’s a great option for a family game night.
I personally find that I prefer the larger Ticket to Ride games when playing with a group of non-gamers, but for a quicker game with friends or family who are already familiar with the Ticket to Ride series, this game is a must-have. The shorter game length also makes it more appealing to me when playing with young children.
If you're a fan of Ticket to Ride, or if you're looking for a fun, fast-paced board game to play, I highly recommend checking out Ticket to Ride: New York. It's a great option for a quick game or a filler game, and it's sure to please everyone at the table.
