Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries
Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries review
I recently bought Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries and I have to say, I'm really enjoying it. It's a great addition to the Ticket to Ride series, especially if you're primarily playing with 2-3 players. The map is designed for a tighter, more competitive experience, with a focus on blocking your opponent's routes. The inclusion of ferries and tunnels adds a new layer of strategy to the game, making it more challenging and engaging.
I found the rules pretty easy to pick up, although there were a few instances where I had to double-check the rules about using wild cards on tunnels and ferries, as well as the longest route and discarding destination tickets. However, once I understood the rules, the gameplay was smooth and enjoyable. The components are of high quality, and the board is visually appealing.
I do agree with some of the other reviewers that the city names can be a bit tricky to remember, especially for those who aren't familiar with Scandinavian geography. However, the cards do have small images showing the route, which is helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys Ticket to Ride and is looking for a more intense and strategic experience.
