Ghost Fightin' Treasure Hunters review

I was initially drawn to Ghost Fightin' Treasure Hunters because it seemed like a simple, fun game for my family. The reviews online were positive, and the theme - ghosts and treasure - definitely appealed to my kids. While it's marketed as a game for ages 5+, my 6 and 7 year olds were able to grasp the rules quickly with just a little help from me. They love working together to defeat the ghosts and collect all the gems, which is exactly what the game aims for.

The game is deceptively simple on the surface, but it can be surprisingly challenging. The rules are easy to learn, and the game plays quickly, but you really have to work together as a team to win. I've found that the game gets progressively more challenging as more ghosts appear, and the haunting rooms start to pile up. It's definitely a game that requires a bit of strategy and some luck.

One of the things I really like about this game is the component quality. The board is beautifully illustrated, and the little ghost and treasure hunter figures are well-made. The dice are also very sturdy, and the cards are nice and thick.

Overall, I'm really happy with Ghost Fightin' Treasure Hunters. It's a great game for families who enjoy cooperative gameplay. It's challenging enough to be fun for adults, but it's also easy enough for younger kids to enjoy. It's also a great way to teach kids about teamwork and problem-solving.
