Animal Upon Animal
Animal Upon Animal review
Animal Upon Animal is a charming stacking game that's surprisingly fun for both kids and adults. We bought this for our four-year-old, and it's become a family favorite. The chunky wooden animals are beautifully painted and easy for little hands to grasp. Each turn, you roll a die and either place one or two animals on the stack, pass one to another player, or extend the base.
The gameplay is simple enough for even young children to understand, but the challenge comes from the precarious nature of the stacking. It's like a reverse Jenga, but with adorable animal pieces!
While it's not the most complex game out there, the simple concept allows for endless fun and laughter as the tower inevitably topples. It's a great way to develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. I also love that it encourages creativity and problem-solving as you try to figure out the best way to balance the animals.
We've enjoyed playing Animal Upon Animal at home, at restaurants, and even on the beach. It's a great game for travel, and the quality of the pieces is excellent. We've had ours for a few years now, and they still look brand new.
If you're looking for a fun, simple game that everyone can enjoy, I highly recommend Animal Upon Animal. It's a game that's sure to bring smiles to faces of all ages!
