My First Carcassonne review

My First Carcassonne is a simple yet surprisingly engaging tile-laying game that has become a favorite in our household. We bought it for our 4-year-old, and it's been a great way to introduce him to board games that involve strategy and decision-making.

The rules are easy to grasp: players take turns drawing a tile and placing it on the board, always matching the sides. The tiles feature adorable illustrations of kids in different colors running along roads. When a road is completed, you get to place one of your meeples (the wooden pieces that represent your character) on it. The first player to place all of their meeples wins.

What I love about this game is that it's fun for everyone. My son enjoys the simple act of placing tiles and seeing the town grow, while I appreciate the opportunity to introduce him to basic strategy. It's also a great game for playing with other adults, as it's quick and easy to learn.

The quality of the components is excellent. The tiles are thick and durable, and the illustrations are charming. My son loves the wooden meeples, too.

If you're looking for a fun and engaging game for young children, I highly recommend My First Carcassonne. It's a great way to introduce them to board games and encourage strategic thinking.
