Final Girl
Final Girl review
Final Girl is a solo board game that puts you in the shoes of a final girl trying to survive a slasher. It's a fun, quick game with a lot of tension. The core game itself can't be played without a "feature film" expansion, which adds a unique killer and location to the game. You can mix and match the killers and locations for a lot of replayability. The game is well-made with a good design and is easily set up.
I was initially hesitant about the game because of the randomness of the dice rolls. The game is definitely luck-based, but that doesn't mean it's not strategic. There's a lot of skill involved in choosing the right actions and using your resources wisely. And the game's theme is fantastic. It really makes you feel like you're in a horror movie.
I've played several games now, and I've had a blast each time. I really love the game's theme and the challenge it provides. I'm looking forward to getting more feature films and exploring the different killers and locations.
I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys solo board games, horror movies, or games with a lot of replayability. It's a fun and challenging game that I think you'll enjoy.
