Aeon's End: The New Age
Aeon's End: The New Age review
I've been a fan of Aeon's End since the original game came out, and I've enjoyed all of the expansions. This one, Aeon's End: The New Age, is a really nice addition to the series.
The biggest draw for me is the new "Expedition System" which lets you play through a series of games with a pre-made campaign, kind of like a smaller version of Aeon's End: Legacy. The story is really cool and I love how it adds more to the lore of the world.
I was also impressed by the new mages and nemeses. The nemeses are more challenging, especially as you play through the campaign and the nemesis cards get stronger. The mages are unique and I love how each one plays differently.
The market cards are also great. They're more complex than previous market cards, but I think they add a lot of replay value to the game. There are some really powerful combinations you can make, but it takes a lot of planning and strategy.
Overall, I'm really happy with this expansion. It's a must-have for any fan of Aeon's End. If you're new to the series, I'd recommend starting with the base game, but this expansion is a great way to add more content and variety to your games.
