Viscounts of the West Kingdom
Viscounts of the West Kingdom review
Viscounts of the West Kingdom has quickly become one of my favorite games. I love the "The West Kingdom" series, and this one is definitely my new favorite. It's a little more complex than some of the other games in the series, but I found it easy to pick up and the rules are very well explained. I like the fact that it's a deck-building game with multiple paths to victory. You can focus on building buildings, acquiring manuscripts, or working in the castle, and each path offers a different challenge. I also really appreciate the solo mode, which is surprisingly good. The AI is very well-designed and provides a challenging but fair opponent. I've played the game both solo and with friends and I've enjoyed it immensely. I would recommend Viscounts of the West Kingdom to anyone who enjoys euro-style games or deck-building games. It's a great game for experienced gamers and beginners alike. However, I would be remiss if I didn't mention a couple of small downsides. The game box I received was damaged, which is something I've noticed is a common problem for many people. Also, the game has been criticized for the art style, but personally, I didn't find it to be offensive. Overall, Viscounts of the West Kingdom is a fantastic game that I would highly recommend.
