Tranquility review

Tranquility is a cooperative card game that's all about quiet cooperation. You and your fellow players must work together to fill a grid with numbered island cards in ascending order, while also navigating your ship home before anyone runs out of cards. The game is simple to learn, but the strategic decisions you have to make about which cards to play and when can be quite challenging. I've found that the game is especially fun to play with a group, as you have to rely on your teammates to help you win.

One thing that really surprised me is that despite the small box size, Tranquility takes up a lot of table space. This can be a bit of a drawback, especially if you're playing with a large group. However, the game's portability is excellent, and the art style is stunning. I also appreciate that the game comes with multiple mini-expansions to add difficulty, which is really useful for solo players.

The silence aspect of the game is really interesting. It adds a whole new level of challenge, as you can't communicate your strategy to your fellow players. This makes the game feel more like a puzzle, as you have to work together to figure out the best way to play your cards. I've found that the silence can also be quite relaxing, and it's a nice change of pace from the usual noisy card games.

Overall, I highly recommend Tranquility. It's a fun and engaging cooperative game that is easy to learn but difficult to master. The game is perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or family, and the art style is gorgeous. If you're looking for a unique and challenging card game, I encourage you to give Tranquility a try.
