Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle – Defence Against the Dark Arts review

This game has been a hit in our family! We're big fans of the cooperative "Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle" and were excited to try this competitive version. It's a fast-paced duel where you build your deck, use spells and allies, and try to stun your opponent three times. It's a lot of fun, but it's definitely not for the faint of heart. The game can be a bit swingy, and it's easy to feel like you're losing if your opponent gets a good start. That said, we really enjoy the strategic depth and the many options for deck building. It's a great game to play with another Harry Potter fan!

I've read some other reviews that mentioned the game can feel unbalanced. We haven't really experienced that, but I can see how that could be a problem if one player consistently gets lucky with the card draws. However, I think it's more about understanding the mechanics and strategizing your deck-building.

Overall, I'd recommend this game to anyone who loves Harry Potter and enjoys competitive card games. It's a great way to spend an hour or two with a friend or family member. Just be prepared for some intense battles!
