Disney Villainous: Evil Comes Prepared
Disney Villainous: Evil Comes Prepared review
I recently picked up "Disney Villainous: Evil Comes Prepared" and I'm having a blast! This expansion adds three new iconic Disney villains to the mix: Scar from The Lion King, Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove, and Ratigan from The Great Mouse Detective. Each villain has their own unique deck, board, and character, which adds a ton of replayability.
The gameplay is engaging and strategic, with each villain having their own specific win condition. You'll need to use your cards to navigate your board, complete actions, and hinder your opponents. The fate deck adds a layer of unpredictability as you can draw cards to disrupt other players' progress. I found myself really enjoying the tension as we all tried to outsmart each other.
I have to say, the quality of the game components is excellent. The cards are sturdy and beautifully illustrated, and the 3D character pieces are a nice touch. Even the game box is well-made and feels durable.
While the game can be a bit complex at first, the rules are clear and well-explained. It's definitely a game for those who enjoy strategy and don't mind spending a bit of time learning the mechanics. I've found it to be a lot of fun with a group of friends or family, and it's definitely sparked a lot of friendly competition.
I'm a huge fan of the Disney Villainous series, and this expansion is a welcome addition. If you're looking for a game that's both engaging and visually appealing, I highly recommend checking it out. Just be prepared for some epic villainous battles!
