Chronicles of Avel review

Chronicles of Avel is a cooperative board game that we've been enjoying as a family. My seven-year-old and I both love the game's unique mix of mechanisms, including drafting, action taking, and dice rolling. The game is definitely different from anything else in our collection, and it's a lot of fun to work together to save the magical land of Avel.

I do have to say that setting up the game takes a while, and it can be a little overwhelming to learn all the rules at first. But once you get the hang of it, the game moves quickly and is a blast. One thing I've noticed is that the game can be tough for two players, so we've found that taking three actions instead of two helps even the odds.

I also love that the game has beautiful components, and everything is so well-made. We've already played Chronicles of Avel several times, and I know we'll continue to enjoy it for a long time. It's great for adults and kids alike!

Overall, I highly recommend Chronicles of Avel to anyone looking for a fun and engaging cooperative board game. The game is a perfect blend of strategy and luck, and the cooperative nature of the gameplay encourages teamwork and communication. Plus, the beautiful artwork and high-quality components make it a joy to play.
