Unmatched: Hell's Kitchen
Unmatched: Hell's Kitchen review
I've been a fan of the Unmatched series for a while now, and I'm always excited to see what new heroes they'll add to the roster. When I saw that Hell's Kitchen was featuring Daredevil, Elektra, and Bullseye, I knew I had to get it!
As always, the game is a standalone experience, but it also works as an expansion to the existing Unmatched sets. This set features a really cool map with some interesting spaces that can enhance your actions, adding a new layer of strategy to the gameplay.
Each character feels unique and has their own set of abilities, which I really appreciate. Bullseye stands out as particularly powerful, but the game feels well-balanced overall.
I was especially impressed with Elektra's resurrection mechanic, which allows her to start over with a new deck and fresh powers. Daredevil's ability to reshuffle cards from his discard pile back into his deck keeps things interesting and prevents him from getting "exhausted" too quickly.
The components are top-notch, as always, and the art on the cards is fantastic. I love the way the cards capture the personalities and fighting styles of each character.
Overall, I highly recommend Unmatched: Hell's Kitchen to any fans of the Unmatched series, especially those who enjoy the Marvel universe. It's a great addition to the game and provides some really fun and unique gameplay experiences.
