Unmatched: Jurassic Park – InGen vs Raptors
Unmatched: Jurassic Park – InGen vs Raptors review
I recently picked up "Unmatched: Jurassic Park – InGen vs Raptors" and I'm having a blast with it! The game immediately drew me in with its iconic Jurassic Park theme and the clash between Robert Muldoon and the velociraptors. It's a great stand-alone set, so you don't need any other Unmatched games to dive right in.
The gameplay is surprisingly deep, and the asymmetric heroes provide a unique experience each time. The raptors are all about speed and flanking, making for a thrilling and dynamic play style. Muldoon, on the other hand, relies on traps, ranged attacks, and his trusty team of InGen workers for a more strategic approach.
I'm particularly impressed with the game's components. The miniatures are well-detailed and the card art is fantastic. I especially love the larger raptor figures—they look incredibly menacing! The map is also well-designed and offers plenty of tactical options for both players.
My only gripe is that the map is only single-sided. With the quality of the map, it would've been nice to have two sides to offer more variety. Despite this small complaint, this is a must-have for any Jurassic Park fan or anyone who enjoys asymmetric tabletop battles.
