Unbroken review

Unbroken is a solo card game that's quickly become one of my favorites. It's a challenging and tense experience that has me coming back for more every time. The premise is simple: you're the sole survivor of a failed expedition and you have to make your way out of hostile territory, gathering resources, crafting weapons, and battling monsters along the way.

What makes Unbroken so special is its clever use of resource management. You have to carefully choose how to invest your limited resources in order to stay alive and prepare for the challenges ahead. There are several options at your disposal: brute force, trickery, or clever use of your skills. It's a fascinating blend of strategy and luck, as even the best-laid plans can be undone by a few bad card draws.

I love how the game captures the feeling of loneliness and desperation of being the last one standing. It's a truly immersive experience that will have you on the edge of your seat. The art is beautiful and the components are well-made, although some reviewers have commented on the thin cardstock.

Overall, I highly recommend Unbroken to anyone looking for a challenging and engaging solo game. It's easy to learn but difficult to master, and the replayability is excellent. If you're a fan of dungeon crawlers or resource management games, you'll definitely want to check this one out.

Just a heads-up: There's been some controversy surrounding the publisher, but that shouldn't detract from the quality of the game itself. The designer, Artem, deserves all the credit for creating such a fantastic game.
