Palm Island
Palm Island review
I've been on the hunt for a portable solo game that I can whip out at a moment's notice, and Palm Island has definitely filled that void. The game is unbelievably compact, fitting snugly in my pocket, which makes it perfect for those times when I'm stuck waiting around. It's a little pricey, but the gameplay is so addictive that it's worth it. I love the constant shuffling of the cards, which ensures that each game presents its own set of challenges. There are no win conditions, but you're constantly trying to maximize your points and unlock new achievements. The game has a surprisingly strategic depth for something so small, and it's a real brain teaser to figure out how to make the most of your resources. The game's cooperative and competitive modes also sound fun, though I haven't tried them yet. Overall, I highly recommend Palm Island to anyone looking for a captivating and portable solo game.
