A Game of Thrones: The Card Game review

I recently picked up A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, the Living Card Game (LCG) version, and I've been having a blast with it. The LCG format really appeals to me because it's a much more manageable way to play than a CCG, and the fact that it's built around expansions that follow the storyline of the books is a huge bonus for a fan like me.

I was a little worried about the learning curve, but it's actually pretty easy to get the hang of the basics. The rulebook is pretty good, though I did find myself watching the online tutorial a few times to make sure I was getting everything right. The game plays really well with four players, and I've been enjoying the strategic depth of the decks. Each house has a distinct playstyle, and I love the feeling of building decks and trying out different strategies.

One thing I have noticed is that some people find the game too complex or too long. If you're not into strategic card games, this might not be for you. However, if you're a fan of the show or the books, and you're looking for a game that's engaging and offers a lot of replayability, I'd definitely recommend checking it out. It's definitely a game that rewards players who put in the time to learn the rules and build strong decks.

Overall, I think A Game of Thrones: The Card Game is a great addition to any card game collection. It's a fun, engaging, and strategic game that's sure to keep you coming back for more. It's also a great way to immerse yourself in the world of Westeros.
