Cry Havoc review

Cry Havoc is a card-driven, asymmetric, area control war game set in a brutal science fiction setting. Each player commands one of four unique factions with varying abilities and units. The game includes 54 custom miniatures, a large format board, and over one hundred unique cards, all with stunning new artwork. I've been wanting to try Cry Havoc for a while now, and I'm glad I finally got around to it. The game is a lot of fun and I really enjoy the asymmetric play and the unique combat system. The deck building aspect of the game is also a nice touch, and I appreciate that there are multiple paths to victory.

The game can be a bit unbalanced at times, especially with 3 players. Some players have reported that the Humans have an unfair advantage, and the Machines have yet to win in their group. However, I think that these issues are more likely due to player error than anything else. Overall, I think Cry Havoc is a great game, and I highly recommend it. I can see this game being a new favorite in my collection.
