Cribbage review

I recently purchased this cribbage board for some casual fun with friends. I was pleasantly surprised by its quality, considering its price point. It's definitely not high-end, but it's solid wood and the pegs are decent. I especially appreciate the bright colors, which make it easy to keep track of the score, even for us "old trifocal" codgers. It's great for playing two or three hands, and I love that it has a storage compartment for the pegs underneath. I've read some reviews mentioning issues with the holes being slightly too small, but I haven't had any problems with that. I did find that one peg was shorter than the others, but it's not a dealbreaker. If you're looking for a good, basic cribbage board that won't break the bank, I'd recommend this one. Just be aware that it doesn't come with a deck of cards, so you'll need to pick one up separately.

One thing I would suggest is making sure to check the holes before playing, as some reviewers mentioned finding some that weren't drilled out properly. I found that the holes were lined up well enough for me, though. The paint isn't perfect, and some of the lines are a bit sloppy, but it doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the game.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. It's a good solid board for the price, and it's been great for casual games with friends. If you're looking for a fancy, high-end cribbage board, this isn't for you. But if you just want a simple, functional board that gets the job done, I'd recommend giving it a try.
