I bought this Backgammon set because I wanted a cheap way to introduce my wife to the game. It's definitely a budget-friendly option, and it does the job of teaching the basics. The board itself is pretty flimsy, made of thin cardboard, and the pieces are cheap plastic. Some reviewers mentioned damage to the box, and I can see how that could happen easily.

It's definitely not a set you'd want to take outside, as it wouldn't hold up well to rough handling. However, for the price, it's a decent set to get started with. If you're looking for something more durable, you'll need to spend a bit more. I'm planning to get a nicer set now that my wife has learned the game.

I'm not sure if I would recommend this set to everyone, but it's a good option if you're on a tight budget and just want to see if you like the game. For the price, it's hard to complain. Just be aware that it's not the highest quality.
