Battle Line review

Battle Line is a two-player card game that's become a staple in our household. It's a quick, strategic game that combines elements of poker and capture the flag. You're trying to create formations on one side of a flag that are stronger than your opponent's formation on the other side. It's simple to learn, but there's a surprising amount of depth to the gameplay.

My partner and I love the tension of Battle Line. The decisions you make are always impactful, and you're constantly trying to outsmart your opponent. We find ourselves strategizing even when we're not playing, trying to figure out how to best use our cards. It's a game that keeps you on your toes!

One of the things I really like about Battle Line is the fact that it's so portable. It comes with a deck of cards and a few flag markers, so you can easily take it with you on trips or to play at a coffee shop. We've even played it with coins and pieces of paper as flag markers!

Some reviewers have mentioned that the card quality isn't great, but we haven't experienced any issues. We've found the cards to be durable enough for our needs. If you're concerned about card quality, you can always sleeve them. Overall, we think Battle Line is a great game for couples who enjoy a bit of strategy and competition. It's easy to learn, quick to play, and highly replayable. We highly recommend giving it a try!
