Acquire

Acquire is a classic game that has been around for decades, and for good reason! The core concept is simple: invest in businesses and try to be the majority shareholder as they grow and merge. I've been playing Acquire for years, and I'm always happy to introduce new people to it. This latest edition is pretty good. The new tower pieces are really fun to use, and I like the inclusion of the 2-player rules. However, I'm not a huge fan of the single-sided money, it's a little inconvenient to keep track of. The paper money tends to stick together too which can get frustrating during the game. Overall, this is a fantastic game with a lot of replay value, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a strategic and engaging board game.
