Concordia

Concordia is a game that has quickly become a favorite in our house. I was initially drawn to it because of its unique setting in the Roman Empire. The game is well-designed, with beautiful components and a board that makes you feel like you're really expanding your empire across the Mediterranean. We play with 2-4 players, and it's a great game for both experienced and newer gamers. The rules are easy to learn, but the game offers a surprising amount of depth and strategy. My favorite part of the game is the card drafting mechanic. Each card has multiple actions you can take, and you have to carefully choose which one will best benefit your strategy. The game is also very well balanced; you never feel like you're completely shut out of the game, even if you're behind. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a relaxing yet strategic game that can be enjoyed by players of all skill levels.
