However, the catch is that you need the highest value of a tree type in your hand at the end of the game to score points for your path. This mechanic creates a thrilling tension, constantly forcing you to decide between building your path or saving cards for the end game. I've played this game with both my family and friends, and it's a hit with everyone. It's a great option for a quick game night or even a more strategic, longer session. However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Some reviews have mentioned that the box is a little flimsy, which I can confirm. It's not the most sturdy box, so be careful when transporting it. Also, keep in mind that this game is best for those who enjoy a good mental challenge. You have to be able to keep track of the cards, think ahead, and predict your opponents' moves. Overall, I highly recommend Arboretum.
