Star Realms: Colony Wars

Star Realms: Colony Wars is a fantastic expansion for the original Star Realms, and it's also a great standalone game for two players. I was hesitant to buy it at first, as I already owned the base game and didn't want to dilute the experience. But, after reading some positive reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did.

This expansion introduces a ton of new cards and gameplay mechanics, and it's definitely worth picking up for anyone who enjoys the base game. The new cards are all very well designed and balanced, and they add a ton of depth and strategy to the game. I particularly enjoy the new ability to put purchased cards directly into your hand, which can really change the way you play. The new bases are also a nice touch, adding more variety and complexity to the game.

I was worried that the expansion would be too overpowered, but that's not the case at all. It's a perfect way to freshen up the base game and add some new challenges.

The only downside I've found is that the card stock is a bit thinner than the original Star Realms cards, so I recommend sleeving them. But, overall, this is a great expansion that I would highly recommend to any Star Realms fan.
