Schotten Totten review

Schotten Totten is a fantastic two-player card game that's quickly become a favorite in our household. I bought it after seeing it recommended on several "best card games" lists, and I'm so glad I did!

The game is easy to learn, but there's a surprising amount of strategy involved. You play cards to build formations in front of nine "stones", trying to outscore your opponent and win the stone. The first person to get five stones wins. It's kind of like poker, but with a twist. You can actually claim a stone before your opponent plays all their cards if you can demonstrate that they can't win it.

The game is fast-paced and exciting, and it's definitely a game of skill. My wife and I both love the way the game plays, and we find ourselves constantly trying to figure out the best way to play our cards.

The game also comes with a set of "Tactic" cards that can be used to add a bit more complexity to the game. We haven't tried these yet, but I'm sure they'll add another level of strategy.

Overall, I highly recommend Schotten Totten. It's a great game for two players, and it's sure to provide hours of fun. The compact size also makes it perfect for taking on trips.
